Life Settlement Bill Set for House Insurance Tuesday 4/4

TDI Rule Amendment Proposal
The Texas Department of Insurance proposes amending 28 TAC §§21.3401 - 21.3409 concerning data collecting and reporting relating to mandated health benefits and mandated offers of coverage. Insurance Code Chapter 38, Subchapter F requires certain accident and health insurers and HMOs to submit data to TDI on mandated health benefits and mandated offers of coverage as designated by the commissioner. Insurance Code §38.252 directs the commissioner to adopt rules on the collection of information on mandated benefits and mandated offers of coverage.
