Commissioner Expected to be Sworn in Early Next Week
Kent Sullivan is expected to be sworn in as Texas Insurance Commissioner on Monday. According to TDI staff, Sullivan has been meeting with staff this week in anticipation of starting the job full time next week.

Kevin Brady Retirement Party a Success
Thanks to all of you who helped us show our appreciation for Kevin Brady's 33 years of service at TDI. Kevin will be taking the rest of the year off but expects to be back to work in some form during 2018.

Save the Dates for 2018
Mark your calendars now and plan to attend TALHI’s two major events in 2018. Our Regulatory Round Table, which features key staff from TDI, will take place April 3-4, 2018, at the Hotel Granduca in Austin. The Round Table will kick off the evening of April 3, immediately after the close of the TDI Compliance Conference, which will take place during the day on April 3.

The 2018 Round Up will take place September 24-26, 2018, at the Hotel Emma in San Antonio.
