Texas HHSC Meeting Pushed Back to January
The Texas HHSC has indicated that they need to postpone the meeting we requested regarding the Accenture data matching program until January due to other agency priorities and the upcoming holidays. In the meantime, the Texas HHSC has decided to put the program on hold for the time being as a result of our discussions with the agency. In this email, Russell Speir said that companies do not need to be concerned with the deadlines in the letters from Accenture at this time. He did say that he would be happy to look at each company to determine whether exemptions should be granted on a company by company basis. Due to the uncertainty regarding HHSC's statutory authority, it may be best to wait until TALHI and member companies can meet with the agency. Please let Jennifer know if you have any questions.
