Texas Securities Commission Proposes Financial Exploitation Rules
The Texas State Securities Board proposes new §115.21 and §116.21, concerning systems addressing suspected financial exploitation of vulnerable customers pursuant to the Texas Securities Act, Section 45. HB 3921, passed last session, requires securities dealers and investment advisers to adopt internal policies and procedures on the reporting and assessment requirements and on holding transactions involving the account of a vulnerable adult who was believed to be subject to financial exploitation.

Commissioner Confirmed to Speak at April Event
