The Texas House Committee met yesterday, and Jay Thompson testified on behalf of TALHI on cost increases in life insurance policies and consumer protections for life insurance policy holders. Among the materials that TDI submitted to the Committee was this life insurance one-pager.

TALHI Submits Comments on Proposed Rules
TALHI submitted comments to the Texas Department of Insurance this week on proposed rules on agent licensing and withdrawal plans.

TDI License Expiration Changes
Starting April 17, TDI agent and adjuster license expiration dates are changing to the last day of each licensee’s birth month. The change does not affect continuing education credits or other requirements. More information about this change can be found here.
