2019 Dues are Due

TDI Releases Biennial Report to the 86th Texas Legislature
On Monday TDI released its Biennial Report to the Texas Legislature. Other than a discussion about the health insurance market in Texas, the report does not touch on any policy issues relating to life, accident & health or retirement products.  The report can be found here.

Session Begins January 8
Texas’ 86th Legislative Session will open on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. A list of bills filed to date that we are tracking can be found here. We will send weekly reports with updates as the session kicks off and additional bills are filed.

Member Calls Resume January 9
Our weekly legislative & policy update member calls will resume on Wednesday, January 9, at 10 am Central. To call in, dial 1-888-537-7715 and enter code 200-68-174# when prompted. The agenda will be posted on both the website and mobile app prior to the call. During session, calls are generally on a weekly basis. Dates may change pending scheduling of committee hearings relevant to our issues.

Holiday Schedule
