TALHI Bills of Note Up for Hearing
Both the House and Senate versions of the Texas Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association update bill will be heard in committee on Tuesday. SB 1153 will be posted for the Senate Business & Commerce agenda today, and HB 1864 was posted yesterday on the House Insurance Committee agenda. Another bill TALHI has been working on, HB 207 by Craddick, the non-guaranteed charges disclosure bill, was also posted for House Insurance Tuesday.

Forum & Lobby Day Next Week

Accolades for TALHI Member
TALHI congratulates our member company Aflac, which was recognized at this week's SXSW festival as the winner of this year's top award in the Robotics and Hardware category. Their "smart" robotic companion, "My Special Aflac Duck," uses interactive technology and joyful play to help children cope with cancer.
